I just read the results from the American Royal BBQ Sauce Competition with mixed feelings. Our mild bbq sauce tied for 49th place out of 217 Which puts it in the top 23% in the world!!! I'm Kind of proud of that one!! The hot bbq sauce didn't fare quite so well, which surprised me...it did the best of the two sauces when I did this 8 or 10 years ago. This time it ranked at 100 out of 145...that's the top 69%. The bottom third. Oh well, I'm not changing anything, & I know that one of my sauces kicks butt!! lol
